Video on the Net with Henkel

video on the net

I had a wicked good time attending the Video On The Net fall conference in Boston this week. Apparently, Boston skipped Fall and decided to go right into Winter. Attendees and panelists discussed everything from ad rates to new technology to the talent and creative side of online video. All in all, the trip was great and I got to see some good friends including Mike Hudack from Blip.tv, Kathryn Jones from Synchronis.tv, Chef Mark Tafoya and Jennifer Ianollo from the Culinary Media Network, Eric from Gardenfork.tv and, of course, Chris Brogan from chrisbrogan.com who also helped organize this widely attended event.

Over the course of two days, there were opportunities to hear from some of the industry’s leading experts followed by some much anticipated networking and Chris Brogan and Pulvermedia, the event organizers, did an amazing job of feeding us and making every feel welcome and ready to schmooze.

videoonthenet.jpgIn short, here's a list of the people I had the opportunity to hear speak or meet during the conference.  Cynthia Brumfield from Emerging Media Dynamics, Paige Albiniak from IP Media Monitor, Eyal Hertzog from Metacafe, Daisy from TelevisionWeek, Hiawatha Bray, Richard Price from TelevisionWeek, Colin Decker from Yahoo! Video, Steve Rosenbaum from Magnify.net, Blake Lewin from TBS, Mark Pascarella from Gotuit, Bart Feder from The Feed Room, Robert Hagans from Envysion, Fred McIntyre from AOL Video, and Babs Rangaiah from Unilever.  Sorry to anyone I forgot.  It's all such a blur....

They have already announced the dates and location for the next, domestic, Video on the Net conference.  Book your tickets to San Jose for March 17th through March 20th, 2008.

It was super great having you in our sphere at the event, and cool to meet Paul at PodCamp Boston before. Things wouldn't have been the same without your smiling face in the audience. We'll have to see each other at the next big cool video event. : )
