Yuri Baranovsky Cracks Under Pressure and Retires Early
April 1, 2008
Once called the YouTube Woody Allen by Jewish Week, considered to be a poor web celebrity by NewTeeVee, belittled by Kent Nichols from Ask a Ninja and yet still full of nebbish chic, Yuri Baranvosky has finally cracked under the pressure from the lack of Break a Leg's success and is hanging up his web video cleats. John Henkel, For Your Imagination's Vice President of Industry and Artist Relations and close friend of Yuri, responded angrily this morning by saying, "Sweet &#$%! What are we going to do now? The world has lost a super talent, I am destroyed by this news." Read the Break a Leg blog for more information.
Chris Albrecht from NewTeeVee just can't leave it alone. Is there no sympathy for a broken man like Yuri? A man who's massive ego has been crushed and battered like a re-used pinata. Have a heart Chris!
Kent from Yahoo! Video laments that "the web’s most (and perhaps only) truly postmodern sitcom announced the imminent retirement of the show". Thanks for your support Kent!
PLEASE READ: Just in case you didn't really read all of Yuri's blog entry at Break a Leg, his quitting was a hoax for April Fool's Day. New video next week! :)
